Even if you have thousands of listeners for each podcast episode you produce (and if so, that’s awesome!), remember: You’re always talking to one person.

Podcasting is an intimate medium. When you speak, you’re in your listener’s head. Saying things like “you guys” or “for everybody listening” takes listeners out of the experience. When you talk to the audience, use “you.”
